Story surrounds Mitchell Goosen, a California teenager who loves to surf and rollerblade. His parents send him to Ohio when they need to leave the country for a work trip. Living with his aunt, uncle and cousin Wiley, he tries to adjust to Ohio. At his new school the hockey players don't like him until they need to get along to beat Central High School rivals in a competition down Devil's Backbone. An adventure, comedy, sport movie. Airborne was Jack Black's first credited film role.
