Both puzzles are 100% Complete and in great condition! The cardboard pieces are actually covered with the ribbed plastic picture  to create the lenticular 3D effect. The plastic-topped pieces kind of "snap" into place tightly. It can be very fun and challenging to assemble since the individual pieces can change by moving them. The covers on the boxes also show the lenticular scenes in 3D.  I tried to include close-ups but it's impossible to capture the 3D effect in a photo.
