Pyrite - Location: Navajun La Rioja Province+ Spain. Thumbnail (see photo for more details). Here we have a really nice specimen of a Spanish Pyrite crystal (the crystal is a complete 'floater' crystal+ that is no points of attachments). The specimen has a near perfect cube of pyrite and the crystal is well-formed and sharp and forms a near perfect unmodified cubic crystal. The crystal is a nice bright brassy yellow color with a metallic luster. Spanish pyrite crystals are world famous+ considered by most collectors as the best in the world. They are the standard by which other pyrite crystals from other locations are measured.
