(From Sweetwater's product page):

The E-MU LONGboard 61 keyboard takes you back to the golden era of digital synthesis. Packed with 64MB of classic synth sounds, as well as a full set of acoustic instrument sounds, this 16-part multitimbral synth opens up realms of music production and composition. From grand pianos to classic keyboards and synthesizers, the LONGboard 61 covers all of the bases. Play the LONGboard 61 as a standalone instrument, or hook it up to your computer via USB and you're all set to access your favorite plug-in instruments. On top of that, you get amazing 32-bit reverb and chorus effects and 128-voice polyphony, allowing you to play complex and richly detailed sounds. The LONGboard 61 even features a built-in PIPEline transmitter, so all you need is a PIPEline receiver, and you're set to play completely wirelessly. Further features, including a Kensington slot and dual headphone jacks make the LONGboard 61 perfect for any music lab.

E-MU LONGboard 61 Synthesizer Keyboard Features at a Glance:
Couple of additional things. Many think this is a preset synth. Not true. You CAN edit the sounds and save them I wouldn't save them on the front page, because that will screw up the matrix on the keyboard, but all the other banks are fair game. Also, should you choose, you can restore all the defaults. Search on YouTube for: "E-mu Wireless ShortBoard How to Restore Factory Defaults", and to save your sounds, look for "E-Mu Wireless ShortBoard How To Save Custom Presets." Either operation takes about 5 seconds to perform.

Yes, it IS wireless, but you'd have to find an E-Mu Pipeline receiver, and they've gotten pretty rare.

One chink in the armor: while using the Piano setting, if you play a thick chord, there is a noticeable flam to the sound. I have 2 of these (hence the reason I'm selling one) and it happens on both of them, and on others that I've played. I think it's because it's overpowering the DSP processor, which can't keep up with the sound. As I wrote, it's only on thick chords, and most of the time you'll never hear. In the interest of transparency, thought I'd mention that.

I think that covers everything except for the legalese: You bid, you win, you own it. No returns, so check with your boyfriend, girlfriend, Daddy, Mommy, or your kids beforehand. I'm not a dealer, just a synth junkie who keeps buying stuff, and then move it on when it starts to push me out of the house.

I generally ship next day, or if payment comes early enough, I'll ship same day.

Any question, send me a site mail..
