This listing is for set of two cereal bowls by Stavangerflint in the “Makene” pattern by Ridley Borchgrevink. The midcentury modern beauties appear to be from the 1950s by the pottery marks. Each bowl is white and is decorated with two seagulls in flight. This design is in black. Each open mouthed bird has fish between them. These rare beauties are made in Norway. Each bowl measures 6 1/2” in diameter and is 1 3/4” tall. The underside is marked, “Ridley Borchgrevink. Norske Dyrentegninger / 9 “Makene” Stavengerflint. Made in Norway.” The marks are not identical, but the information appears to be. There is some light crazing on the inside of one of the bowls. Please see photos. No chips, cracks or repairs. Please see all photos to supplement this description.
