Various Size Pre Cut topper. These are printed on edible wafer paper, edible wafer card, edible icing using edible ink.
Please bear in mind that printing on an edible medium is not the same as printing on regular paper. Images tend not to be bright and vivid, however I have adjusted my print settings to achieve the optimum image.
You choose whether you would like your topper in edible icing, edible wafer card or edible wafer paper. You also choose the size you want. These are pre cut so come ready to use.
Great for on top of your cake or to decorate round the sides.

Use & care Instructions
Storing the cake topper
To prevent drying out (it will crack) keep sealed in the zip loc bag and store in a cool dry place until ready to use. Edible inks are sensitive to sunlight, extended exposure may result in colour change. Use within 6 months of purchase date.
Preparing the cake | extra pre-cautions for high moisture content toppings, dark cake surfaces, dry surfaces
The cake topper is a decoration for an already prepared / iced cake. Ideally suited for light coloured fondant icing, e.g the type available in ready to use packs sold by supermarkets. By taking extra pre-cautions you can also use them with wet icing or high fat / moisture content toppings like butter cream. See below.
High moisture content toppings will cause blurring, bubbling or tearing of the cake topper.
To prevent this make a 2mm thick plaque of light coloured fondant icing the same size as the cake topper. Place the plaque on the wet surface as a barrier. Place the topper on the plaque.
Dark icing will reduce vibrancy of the cake topper.
Apply an icing plaque as described above.
Dried / dusty icing will prevent cake topper adhering.
Dampen cake icing using a pastry brush but don't over wet it.
Removing the cake topper from the backing sheet
Work with dry hands. The backing sheet is either white waxy paper or clear plastic. There is only one backing sheet, don't confuse the shiny underside of the cake topper as a second backing sheet. To remove, bend back the backing sheet with your thumb whilst applying a little pressure with your other thumb to lift the edge of the cake topper. If it does not come away after a few attempts, stop. Excessive moisture in the cake topper is keeping it attached to the backing sheet. Don't be tempted to pick at it or try and lift it with a knife, it will tear. Don't do it! Solution is quick & simple. Reduce the moisture content using one of the methods below.
Passive Method: Leave to stand in a non humid environment (humidity will increase the moisture content). Check every 5-7 minutes to see if the backing sheet will peel off. Do not leave unattended to dry out excessively.
Warming Method: Place on a baking tray in a warm (not hot) oven for 30 seconds, then try again to remove cake topper, repeat as required. Do not leave unattended to dry out, shrivel and crack.
Applying the cake topper to the cake
Work with dry hands. Hold the cake topper at the edges and lower the middle part on to the cake. When satisfied with the positioning slowly lower from the middle outwards. If any bubbles or wrinkles are present gently pat them out with dry fingers. Removing & re-applying the cake topper is not recommended as there is a high risk of tearing. If you do accidentally tear the cake topper rub gently with a dry finger to merge back together. Unless the tear is very bad it should be hard to see after an hour or so once the blending process has completed.
If desired you can add a piped icing border around the edges of the cake topper.
