Brand new. Digitally edited and professionally re-printed on photo stock.
From a family estate of a gentleman's collection of gay and male related photographs and ephemera. Most items are from the early to mid 20th century and includes loose photographs as well as some pictures that were cut by the owner from an antique photo album.
4"x6" Reprint of a publicity still from the silent movie, Wings (1927.) This movie was important to the history of film in that it was the first winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1927. It starred these two men as WWI flying aces, the love interest was Mary Pickford - who was married to Rogers for over 40 years until her death in the 1970s. It was also the first movie featuring Gary Cooper who would go on to reach his own stardom by the 1940s.
