Wonderful late 19th century short cylinder music box with 6 Airs, c. 1890. Cased in a cherry inlay box with glass lid and original tune card marked National Music Box with tunes listed. Box measures 13 5/8” long x 7 ½” wide x 5 ½” high, comb measures 6” long. Music box is in working order, though note the levers do not control the on/off mechanisms, the crank works to start the rotation, though needs to be manually started, so needs some repair. Glass has a chip to corner,  unknown losses to teeth. Some wear to wood box, missing key and losses to hardware, please see all photos.  A fine addition to any home or collection!
