This is an ultra-rare paperback copy of "Spanish Baroque Art" by Sacheverell Sitwell, the reprint in 1971. What's so rare about it? An insert card from the publisher says only 25 were printed. TWENTY-FIVE. That's right.
The owner was Anthony Winner, a professor at the University of Virginia. The publisher's card was clearly meant as a perk for faculty who nudged university libraries to buy clothbound copies.
Binding is like new, NEVER READ. Illustrated with black-and-white photos. There is some minor damage to the paper spine. See photos. Winner wrote his name and his wife's name (Viola Winner, a fellow UVA professor) on the flyleaf.
