Glass mount antennas are mounted on the glass of your vehicle. There is an inside coupling box and an exterior antenna whip. Both are applied with semi-permanent adhesive. No holes are drilled in the glass! If you should need to remove these antennas you will need to carefully cut the adhesive from the glass.

A car’s steel body panels and tinted windows can reduce a phone’s signal strength up to 90% without an external antenna. Andrew antennas eliminate the car’s shielding effects to expand calling range while reducing static and dropped calls.

Glass Mount Antennas require no holes or special tools and can be quickly & easily installed on a windscreen or rear window.

The antenna couples capacitively through the glass and its high positioning give it an almost omni-directional radiating pattern, with performance similar to a conventionally mounted roof-top antenna.
