Legends Brass Signature Series Eth! Designed for the legendary John Eth. John wanted a mouthpiece with his "compression cup design". The inside rim diameter is .610", with good undercut for plenty of chop room. The cup is an extra shallow flat bottomed bowl shape, which gives the player good response. The throat is slightly open (#26), combined with the Legends Manhattan (very focused) backbore, for crisp and precise articulation.

"My personal mouthpiece is a custom mouthpiece using my own cup and rim design produced and available from Legends Brass. This is a small diameter .610" mouthpiece with what I call a compression cup design. This design allows a player to use more control over the upper register using a faster speed of air verses using massive amounts of air.
