The PRISCILLA’S POP comic strip, created and drawn by Al Vermeer, 

debuted on July 7, 1946 and ran until September 11, 1983.   When 

Vermeer retired in 1976, Edmund “Ed” Sullivan continued

 the strip to the conclusion.
