This model is from the original Italian company. It has long been discontinued and is now extremely rare and hard to find.

North American P-51 Mustang "Ole Yeller". This P-51 Mustang was owned and flown at many air shows around the US by pilot/legend Bob Hoover. Mr. R.A. Bob Hoover was a veteran flyer, as well as an airshow and test pilot. For years he was the official starter for the Reno Air Races.
The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang was a long-range single-seat fighter aircraft that entered service with Allied air forces in the middle years of World War II. The P-51 flew most of its wartime missions as a bomber escort in raids over Germany, helping ensure Allied air superiority from early 1944. It also saw limited service against the Japanese in the Pacific War.

Very rare model, discontinued from Franklin Mint. This model is brand new and has never been displayed. The box was only opened for inspection and pictures.
