Maytag Gas Engine Motor 72 Twin Crankshaft Repair Die Thread Rethread Crank

Here is a new die for repairing the threads on your Maytag 72 Engine Crankshaft. This is 1/2-20 UNF Rethread Die. It is hex shape so you can use a standard wrench to turn it.

It’s a good idea to run this over your crankshaft threads before reassembly. If you have any concerns that your threads may have gotten nicked or damaged, this will save you from potentially cross threading the nut or possibly ruining your crankshaft. This process only takes a few minutes.
