This is a SCARCE official US Post Office advertising poster for the 8-Cent "Albert Einstein Regular Postage Stamp" issued on March 14, 1966. This stamp was designed by Frank Sebastiano of New York City, who used a portrait by Philippe Halsman as the central subject
This poster (8" x 10 1/2" on regular paper) was for posting in local post offices BEFORE the stamp came out, and contains advice for customers wishing first day issues.
