Here we have an extremely rare and finely molded flask featuring a raised relief peacock sitting on a fence with the scene repeated on both sides.  This was molded in 2 halves with the sides pressed together while the clay was still damp prior to firing.  This flask is attractive with the Rockingham glaze accenting the raised relief detail.  Measuring 7 ¼” in height to the lip, the bottle is supported by a 3” wide oval base.  This survives in its original mint condition with no damage or repairs.  This is extremely rare and is the only flask I’ve ever seen with this decoration.
