I'm reasonably certain this top is from the 90s.  The absolutely adorable character 'Mary Christmas' is bedecked in Christmas trappings, complete with sparkly gold rhinestones (see video).

August Max sometimes has odd sizes that don't seem to match any regular sizes. This top says it's a size 5, but it's too big to be a regular 5 and too small to be 5X. To me this looks like it's either XL or 1X, but check the measurements (see photos) to make sure it will fit you. Keep in mind that it does have some stretch.

Also, although the care instructions say hand wash, and I will never instruct anyone to ignore the care instructions, I will say that I machine washed this top in a lingerie bag on the gentle cyle with a delicate detergent, and it came out beautifully.
