New Age Dao Sword, a modern take on an ancient Chinese Sword. A very nice 16 inch 1055+ Carbon Steel Dao Blade with a tough gray rust resistant coating (made by Woodland Tools, printed on the blade and shown in the pics). The blade is very sharp and includes 3 hardened steel gunmetal silver carabineer rings that can be added and removed as desired. Double pinned with steel pins, full tang, in a black cord wrapped impact polymer handle that is 8 inches long. The cord wrap is soft, but durable black satin nylon round wound cord that covers 6 inches of the handle. The lanyard is about 23 inches thick cotton rope wrapped with colorful nylon and a thick durable nylon tassel at the end... ties quickly and easily to the wrist.      This sword will come very sharp, but I recommend getting an accusharp or similar blade sharpener to keep the edge. The coating will keep the rest of the blade safe, but you will still want to clean the edge with mineral oil after use or sharpening to prevent rust. Please be careful and use a rag, it will be very sharp.
