Here for sale we offer a Victorian Treasure. A Doulton Art Pottery Biscuit Barrel from the 1890's. This love Art Pottery piece has the impressed lace technique of the Doulton Slaters Patent. It is enameled over the raised decoration. The Silver Rim & Handle as well as the lid is in excellent condition with beautiful Patina. The China barrel has no chips, cracks nor repairs & only normal wear from its age & Antiquity. Marked on the bottom with the 1890's Doulton Burslem mark & crown. Must see in person to fully appreciate how beautiful it is. The barrel stands 9" tall to the top of the handle by 7" to the top of the lid's finial & is about 6" across at the neck.
