Your Barnstead|Thermolyne Cimarec stirrer is a general purpose stirring plate designed for laboratory procedures requiring precise control of stirring speed. The stirrer will accurately maintain stirring speeds from 60 rpm up to 1200 rpm. The top plate on the Cimarec units is solid ceramic, and is suitable for use with glass or metal vessels. 

Your Cimarec stirrer may be used for general laboratory mixing of solutions, including sample preparation, content analysis, solvent evaporations, digestions, media preparation and sterilization, titrations, sand baths, and microscale chemistry applications.
