Large dressed  Mr. Rabbit....for your Easter basket....

Standing in a field of tall molded grass is this RARE and charming, 8" tall, molded celluloid, fancy dressed, figural "Mr. Rabbit" toy or rattle wearing a fancy shawl with large collar and bow at his neck and holding a basket of eggs. This toy is from an extensive collection of salesman's samples obtained from the closed factory and was used as one of their models (factory model #) in the factory. See similar rabbit on page 56, "Celluloid Dolls Toys & Playthings"-Robinson for $150 or more value. He is direct from the closed USA factory (in Leominster, Ma.* and closed in 1973 after producing one of the largest assortment of blown celluloid and plastic baby toys in the world) having never been completed. He has the intertwined Viscoloid USA signature on one side of his molded grass base indicating his manufacturer and is in excellent condition *In 1924, the Viscoloid company sold their molds to the IRWIN Corporation.
