The prior owner owned nothing that was purchased in the 21st century, so this is definitely vintage, and by its look I would guess 80s, but I could be a decade off on either side of that.

This is a GORGEOUS bag, with interwoven multi-hued raffia around the top and bottom, and inset fabric with brightly colored butterflies on a black background that makes them pop.

The inside is lined in a lovely pale green brocade fabric and has one large slip pocket. 

The bag is held closed by a jute loop around a large round wood button.

It is in excellent condition, especially for its age, with only the slightest signs that it was ever used.
