This Queen of the Gypsies collector plate, released by Hamilton to the public in 1991, is one of eight plates in Hamilton's The Official I Love Lucy Plate Collection.

The plates from this collection were the first I love Lucy plates produced by Hamilton and were limited to 14 firing days for each plate design. Jim Kritz designed all the I love Lucy collector plates for this collection. Each plate is trimmed in 24K gold. This collector plate series was produced between 1989 and 1992.
