water is free from ionic charge meaning it is also suitable to be used
as deionised water. However unlike deionised water which may contain
impurities, our pure steam distilled water is safe for human
consumption.
To produce distilled water, water is heated and
turned to vapour. The vapour is then cooled, normally in a coil where it
is condensed back to liquid. Special vent holes allow other evaporated
VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) to escape. The distillate passes
through the system in to a carbon filter. The resulting liquid is 100%
pure water.
Storage Instructions:Keep
out of direct sunlight in a cool and clean, odour free environment.
Keep lid tightly sealed when not in use to prevent CO2 absorption. If
stored correctly distilled water does not expire. Our pure distilled
water does not contain any additives, microbial inhibitors or
preservatives. For this reason we recommend once opened, consume within
one month and refrigerate if possible.
