Omega Seamaster De Ville Tiffany & co. wristwatch, [1342]. Omega quartz Tiffany and co Seamaster SeVille
Runs well, Swiss made, Stainless steel case, Movement number: 1342, The crown has a button in it that is used to set the minute hand, unadjusted, 40-613030, case number: 1960075, 7 jewels,
This watch was missing the minute hand and I did not have one with a small enough post. I thought it would be easy enough to modify one. so I shave down a 14K earring post to fill in the hole and riveted in, and drilled out the gold to fit over the minute post. The minute hand. It was a bigger job than I thought and the minute hand got scuffed in the process. I also cleaned the crown that was not functioning. it dose set but seem it should set easier to me.
I am not entirely sure how much the Tiffany & co brand effects the price. But it is stated on multiple websites that it is a luxury brand.

I graduated from the Bulova school of watchmaking in Oct 1978, I got my certification from the Minnesota board of examiners in watchmaking in 1981.
The Minnesota board of directors gave me a symbol to put on every watch I clean and overhaul.
This symbol is a rhombus with the letters BVS in it. I put the date the watch was worked on near the symbol.
I worked for Fox Valley Trade Shop in Fond du Lac Wisconsin in 1979. Then JJ Smith in Janesville WI then Goodman's Jewelers in Minneapolis Minnesota then had my own watch repair place and now I own my own jewelry store and have since 1985.
