Pretty Antique oil lamp standing 70cm tall overall.

The base is an ornate ormolu/Gilt with a pattern of flower baskets suspended by flowing ribbons and stands upon four little acanthus leaf feet. The column is a pretty pink marble with a matching gilt top which is permanently affixed to the font.

The font is decorated with large and small thumb print cuts and has a brass collar fitted with a Gaudard single wick, central draught burner which is marked to the working wick winder with the star shaped logo associated with the maker. A funnel shaped 26cm chimney appropriate to the lamp is fitted, and the burner benefits from an antique lamp gallery and new wick.

The lamp is completed by an acid etched round glass shade of unknown age measuring 17cm in diameter and 16cm in height.
