  FABULOUS large, 14" tall, "Susie Q", labeled, "Susie Q"/Madame Alexander, New York stuffed cloth character doll labeled by Madame Alexander from the 1938 comic strip. She has huge, painted blue, side-glancing (googly shaped) eyes glancing to the side and green felt and off-white cotton outfit complete with matching felt shoes. This sweet faced, early cloth doll has her original yarn hair in long braids beneath her darling straw bonnet with flower trim.  (Susie has blonde yarn hair with thick bangs and long braids). She has a comical expression, molded pug nose, long eyelashes and rosy cheeks. She also has molded flat feet to stand and mitt-shaped hands with separate thumbs. Susie has red striped legs. She wears her dotted-Swiss cotton dress with green felt skirt and pink ribbon trim and black felt shoes. She is in good clean condition (needing one cloth arm) with no stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. Therefor being sold as in final AS IS condition.

In addition: included is this original and very RARE, Norcross, (embossed) N.Y. "Susie Q", colorfully illustrated, standing gift card (7 1/2" x 11").  For reference: 16th Blue Book of Doll Values-Jan Foulke lists their value at $3000 on page 207.
