Here we have an extremely rare and stunning mug with 4 well executed mocha “trees” silhouetted on a wide white band.  The color of the solid black mocha trees on the bright white background is stunning and is as nice as you will ever find.  Measuring 4” in height, the mug is in original mint condition with no damage or repairs.  A photo of this extremely rare yellow ware mug is shown and described in Jonathan Rickard’s definitive book “MOCHA and related dipped wares, 1770-1939” on page 59.  The underside of the mug has the “church” stamp for T.G Green, this was first used in 1930.  This mocha decorated yellow ware mug is extremely rare, beautiful and highly collectable.
