SPECIFICATIOPNS:

Two-Step Metering Rods: There are metering rods inside the carburetor designed to aid in the transition between circuits, helping avoid backfiring in the engine. Hence, it minimizes the risk of blown-up power valves. The carbs use easily changed metering rods for precise tuning, non-adjustable secondary air valves, and the primary venturi booster is a bottom-feed design for smoother acceleration and better drivability.

Electric/Manual Choke: This carburetor comes with both options. You can either choose an electric choke or a manual choke. An electric choke is the most suitable option for winters, as starting an engine in the cold can be difficult. The job of an electric choke is to warm the engine quickly by mixing air and fuel. On the other hand, manual choking involves adjusting a metal plate to increase/decrease the air. It can be a bit difficult for some users, which is why most prefer an electric choke.

  • Compatibility: Matching with various intake manifolds, include Performer EPS, Performer RPM, RPM Air Gap, Torker Ⅱ and other similar designs.
  • Design: This carburetor adopts two-piece all aluminum structure, with lower working temperature and less warpage. Can works with manual or electric choke carb.
  • Function: For small and some large engines to get good street performance and fuel economy. It is not affected by engine flashback that means there is no power valve to blow out, and the rod can be replaced in a few seconds without removing the carburetor.
  • Note: This performer series carburetors are not suitable for computer control applications. Includes general motors’ vehicles equipped with Q-Jet carburetor in 1981 and later, and some Ford vehicles equipped with automatic overdrive (AOD) transmission in 1981 and later.
  • Upgraded from original edelbrock design, well made with CNC, not handmade as other sellers, check difference on fuel check glass window. This item is much higher quality.
