Up for sale are brand-new in the box from the factory, Pyramid Apex 7000 series bill validators, model number 7400-UB3-USA, 110/120 volts.  The 7400-UB3-USA offers extended anti-stringing and cheat protection with bill box teeth for catching and cutting string, and an optional firmware version with a special anti-stringing security mode.

The 7400-UB3-USA is a direct replacement for and is the latest version of the following Pyramid bill validator models:
  • 5400-U53-USA
  • 5400-UC3-USA
  • 7400-U53-USA
  • 7400-UC3-USA
These bill validators will accept all the latest versions of the $1 through the $20 bill.  This 120 volt bill validator comes with a 9-pin square Molex connector and an 18-pin I/O connector for most pulse/serial applications.  The harnessing setup with this validator is the same as an MEI 2000 series 110/120 volt bill validator, or any Coinco BA/Mag or Vantage 110/120 volt bill validator, and will replace any of those models with the appropriate firmware installed on the Apex validator.  This validator comes with a 500-note bill box, and a compact-style bezel as pictured, with flashing blue lights.  Please message us after you buy if you need a different size bill box.  700-note and 1000-note bill boxes will cost extra.

Features of this validator include 4-way bill acceptance (upside down and right side up), advanced anti-stringing technology, easy to update option with a USB cable (cable not included) to your computer, high-visibility flashing blue bezel lights, easy access dip switches, and easy interchangeability with other manufacturers (Coinco, MEI).

This validator will replace any Coinco or MEI 110/120 bill validator with matching bezel styles, with no harnessing changes required.  The firmware included on these Pyramid validators is compatible with most change machine, gaming applications, and car wash applications.  Vending machines may require a different firmware version for these validators to work in them, so be sure to message us after you buy if you intend to use this product in a vending machine.
