A group of five original etchings from Nahum Tschacbasov as photographed.
Though they are not obviously marked as such, these came from Weintraub Galleries, Madison Avenue
New York in 1999 following the death of Jacob Weintraub.
None off the 5 etchings are titled, so the descriptions are in the same order as the photographs.
They have old mat marks and so being matted would clean the group up. They also have some pieces of tape to the verso, presumably for matting purposes.
I can find only one of them having been sold at auction recently, so there are reasonably uncommon.
1) Number 15 of 50. Signed by the artist in 1945.
The paper measures 10" x 16". The image measures 7" x 12"
The margins are tanned and there are two mat lines to the margins too.
