Very important American Colonial History medal: Betts 67, Silver 55mm. commemorating the Spanish Wreck Treasure Recovery in 1687 from the "Concepcion" ship. Sharp EF-AU with minor surface marks and acceptable rim bruises. A photo shows the more severe edge bruise, others are quite minimal. Very rare and highly popular medal. The details of this particular specimen about equal to the one recently sold by Spink for 4800 Pounds (about $5400. US) . While ours has minor marks and bruises, the quality is still very high and it allows for a much more decent price. A rare opportunity for the advanced collector !
