- Generally, for the GLC, the spare can be stored under the trunk floor of the rear cargo area (if you select the Complete kit Without Carrying Case). The dimensional space needed is 29” wide and 6” deep. As some variations in GLC models affect the available space there, it is advisable to check your GLC. The optional carrying/storage case is designed for vehicles without such a space. The case will keep the entire kit neatly compact while being stored in the main cargo area.

Your Mercedes GLC has space under the floor of the rear cargo area. In most instances, the spare will fit nicely in this space without issue while in some GLCs, the space is not large enough for the floor to latch closed perfectly. Please consider the carrying case option. In the event that your GLC does not have adequate room, the spare can be kept in the main cargo area utilizing the carrying case. We have yet to identify which GLC models will allow under-floor storage as this is not simply identified by a model year designation. The spare dimensions are 29 inches by 6 inches.
