Up for sale is a phenomenal oil on canvas by well known Russian artist Valentin Vorobiev b. 1938.  Signed lower middle and on back. Piece is entitled "Room" (I think; my Russian is miserable). Dated 1968

Valentin Vorobiev is well collected and his works are in numerous museums around the world. A dissident or disruptive Russian painter during the Soviet era, Vorobiev has a strong auction record with pieces selling at Christies and Sothebys. This is an oil on canvas signed at bottom middle center left and on back. Titled on back I believe it is 'Room".

No significant issues to the piece. Minor chipping at far edges near frame. Painting is 50 plus years old so some collectin of dust although this does not need a cleaning in near term. Ready to hang.  Framed in probably the original wood by the artist.
