1985 drama Not Quite Paradise also known as Not Quite Jerusalem starring Joanna Pacula, Sam Robards, Todd Graff and directed by Academy Award nominated Lewis Gilbert.

The Story: While working in a kibbutz (an Israeli farming collective), a tourist and a female worker fall in love. However, he can't stay and she can't leave her work. Will love triumph?

Comments: It's definitely not Club Med for volunteers from England, United States and Japan as they discover that life on an Israeli kibbutz isn't quite what they expected. It is temporary escapism from life at home, but 'home' tends to creep up on you when you least expect it. Shot on location at Kibbutz Elot and Kibbutz Grofit and at the Mikve Israel Agricultural School, the film unfolds as a slow paced romantic story, that will leave you with a smile.

Per the label, the film has 106 minute running time and is presented in widescreen 1.85:1 format. The disc has English audio only; no subtitle options. This movie-on-demand MOD archive title on recorded media is new and factory sealed. The DVD disc is Region 1, NTSC format, specifically designed to play on DVD players in North America. It will probably not play on a PlayStation or similar game device.
