Oil on cardboard. Signed Christine Hope, an American impressionist painter who lived and worked in Italy. The painting and the artist are pictured in the old newspaper article on the back and exhibited at Hotel Van Curler, New York, United States in 1960. The painting is titled Market at S. Spirito. A location in Florence Italy. A certificate of authenticity will be included with this work.
Condition:
Ready to hang. In good condition. The oil could use a light cleaning, due to the old age. Otherwise fine with no holes, tears or missing paint. The original salon frame has minor scratches due to the age.
