Personality portrayed: Géza Anda (19 November 1921 - 14 June 1976) was a Swiss-Hungarian pianist. A celebrated interpreter of classical and romantic repertoire, particularly noted for his performances and recordings of Mozart, he was also considered to be a tremendous interpreter of Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms and Bartók. In his heyday he was regarded as an amazing artist, possessed of a beautiful, natural and flawless technique that gave his concerts a unique quality. Most of his recordings were made on the Deutsche Grammophon label.

Original photo (glossy finish) measures approx.: 92 mm x 142 mm. Photo is boldly signed and dated 1969 by the artist in green ink. It comes along with postally used envelope sent from Switzerland to Buenos Aires in 1969 and which contained this photo. Both are pasted down onto black cardboard album page.
