Burmese Pumtek Pyu Fossilized Wood Beaded Necklace with Hand Polished Yellow Glass, 38 in.
The largest beads are the 4 compass point beads related to Buddhist teachings. The smaller beads are 6 striped beads and one additional bead at the top of the strand has 5 stripes including a center zigzag stripe.
This appears to be a contemporary necklace so these are not ancient beads. On close inspection The striations would indicate that they are made of fossilized wood.
The yellow beads are a primitive glass bead that's hand polished and drilled. One of the yellow beads is missing from the top half part of the necklace.
