Reinstating sometimes difficult areas such as poached or damaged gateways, areas around feeding stations, water troughs, stable entrances and walkways to usable grazing grass must be a priority. Then (ideally) the seedbed should be lightly harrowed or raked again before rolling or treading the surface down firm.
