With its cutaway body design, short scale 30" neck and light weight, it provides ease of playability. The 500/2 delivers a true vintage sound with full deep bass tones from its fully hollow body and Höfner "Staple" pickups.

Our limited edition Fab Gear Burst 500/1 Beatle Bass has been so popular that we decided to have a set of Hofner 1965 Reissue Club Basses built with our special “Fab Gear Bust” finish with the correct sunburst color on the body, and sunburst on the sides and back of the neck to be most similar to Paul McCartney’s famous Hofner Beatle bass.
