The idea for National Trading Card day was that kids could stop by their local card shop and pick up a free bundle of 5 packs to get them into the hobby of sports card collecting.

Each pack contains a number of cards from a range of sports. Sports included are Basketball, Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Golf and NASCAR. As mentioned the key rookie cards is these packs are LeBron James, Carmello Anthony and Eli Manning. These three cards, when graded, fetch hundreds of dollars each.

The other notable cards in the packs are Michal Jordan, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzy, Roger Clemens and a host of other stars from 2004. Each card is unique with the National Trading Card Day logo on it, and all packs contain the same set of cards, so you are guaranteed to get the three rookie cards listed above.

These cards are new in the pack, loosely sealed in plastic pouch just like it came from the hobby store. Cards have been stored in a card box in a tempreture controled environment.
