U.S. NAVY CHIEF PETTY OFFICER "CPO MESS" CHALLENGE COIN
Ask the Chief – Established 1893

Since April 1, 1893, the Chief Petty Officer has been the backbone of the United States Navy. Chiefs are the technical experts, leaders and mentors who train sailors, advise officers and hold the fleet to the highest standards. Earning the fouled anchor and joining the Chiefs' Mess is one of the proudest moments in a sailor's career. This challenge coin honors every Chief, Senior Chief and Master Chief who has earned a place in the Mess.
