Allows you to use your original Taito Space Invaders board in a JAMMA cabinet or a supergun device.

Space Invaders was one of the most popular and historically important games of the late 1970s and early 1980s.  It was originally developed by Taito of Japan and licensed to Midway for distribution in North America. The game originally used a black and white, TV type monitor, feeding it a composite signal. Interestingly, the Taito and the Midway versions use a completely different PCB, and are not pinout compatible.

This adapter will only convert the Taito version of Space Invaders. For the L-Shaped Midway licensed version of the game see this page here.

The adapter contains a power-on reset circuit (POR) required for the game to start correctly.

Sound board wire harness is included with the adapter.

Compatibility:

This is the list of compatible games that can be used with this adapter:
  • Taito Space Invaders (3 board stack)
The adapter has been tested with both a Taito Space Invaders PCBs.

Important: This adapter will not work with the Midway version of Space Invaders.

Shipping:

I combine shipping. Request invoice with combined shipping by selecting "request total" from your cart. This works only in the browser, not in the mobile app.

"Tracked Packet" shipping rate is selected by default. An economy shipping service called "Small Packet" is available for small orders, but please note that this service is slow and doesn't provide online tracking. If using Small Packet, I will not be able to provide you with status updates and cannot resend missing items until at least 60 days have passed due to current shipping delays.

For more info on shipping options, tracking, delivery times and more, please check out my FAQ under shipping.

CanadaPost shipping rates quoted may not be accurate, especially for Europe and Australia. Any excess shipping charges will be refunded.
