Hornet Outdoors Receiver Hitch Spare Tire Mounts are the solution for carrying a spare tire for your ATV or UTV without taking up any valuable rack or bed space.

The U-4047 mounts the wheel on a low-profile angled bracket to minimize protrusion from your vehicle.

Unlike trucks and SUVs, ATV and UTV receiver hitches are commonly located beneath the vehicle. The unique angled lower section of our Receiver Hitch Spare Tire Mount extends the receiver hitch beyond the rear of the vehicle and provides plenty of ground clearance in rough terrain.

The mount post attaches to the lower section with an industry standard 5/8" hitch pin, allowing the mount post and mounted spare to be removed and reinstalled in seconds for easy UTV tailgate use and bed access.

This Spare Tire Mount is proudly made in the USA with American steel and is compatible with any standard 2" receiver hitch.

The included hitch pin attaches the mount post to the lower section.

The included 3/8" fasteners will accommodate most wheels, but some wheels may require the separate purchase of longer bolts.

The vertical arm that you mount your spare tire to can be adjusted to a number of different heights.

Note: The amount of bed overhang varies by the Make and Model of your ATV or UTV. Check out the dimensions below to confirm that the spare tire will be positioned where you want it. Hornet manufactures various short extensions that allow you to position the spare tire right behind your bed.

Works great

This fits in my receiver hitch of my Ranger and clears the back just fine. It's close so if you have a back bumper you will need an extension. It came with a stabilizer but I added a second one where it inserts in to my hitch to eliminate the wiggle.

ATV spare tire hitch mount

I have a 2019 Yamaha wolverine and the large size fit perfect. It's grest because you can easily remove it if not needed. Well built and half the price of Yamaha spare tire mount that is permanently attached.

Great product and fast shipping

I mounted the 17" version of this on a 2018 Polaris General with a stock front wheel and a 30"x10" tire. Everything fit great. It came with a single small hitch stabilizer, you will want 2.. I went with a couple heavier duty stabilizers. but the one they sent would have worked for one. I just wanted all the nuts to be the same size. IE one wrench to remove if necessary... We "tested" it Trail riding in Silverton around the Alpine Loop, and then Moab for several days... It SURVIVED. if you have been there, there are a LOT of rocks and rough trails to "test" the tire carrier on....again. it Survived and got several compliments. Great American made products. Hitch receiver spare tire mount

The product fit well on my Honda Pioneer 1000-5. I purchased the extra stabilizer, which I am glad I did. There is still a little wobble at the hitch receiver, but it’s not bad. If I could make a suggestion it would be to have two stabilizers and two hitch pins come standard with it. Also, the bolts I received to attach the spare tire bottomed out because they weren’t threaded down the entire bolt. It’s also difficult to hold the tire up, hold a bolt in place, and thread the nut on the bolt all at the same time.
