The History of
... Charles Girardier.... was a master watchmaker in Geneva during
the 18th and 19th century. His signature timepieces became known for
their enameling and hand-painted miniatures on the dials. When
Patrick Ulm discovered the rich history of Charles Girardier, he had a
vision to create a contemporary watch brand that was linked to the
Geneva watchmaker. This collection of timepieces is inspired by
Girardier, whose values for playful mechanical animation continue to
be produced...
The featured watch described is a Swiss made Charles Girardier 1809 Tourbillon 1759SS
crafted polished finished Stainless Steel round shaped case measuring
40.5mm diameter. Fixed bezel, turned down lugs. Manual wound movement,
power reserve up to ± 48hours. Displays a Blue Côtes de Genève dial
with applied luminous fill hour markers, luminous fill hands,
indexes-minute track on slanted flange at outer rim. Tourbillion at 9
o’clock position. Pull / push crown. Scratch resistant Sapphire
crystal, Transparent caseback. BLack leather strap with Tang Buckle.
Water resistant to 30m/99ft. Display signed " Charles Girardier ",

the Elder", was a master watchmaker in Geneva during the 18th and
19th century. When Patrick Ulm discovered the rich history of Charles
Girardier, he than acquired company in 2018 .. He had a vision to
create a contemporary watch brand that was linked to the Geneva
watchmaker. Beautiful Mechanical Swiss Watches: Precise movements and
luxury designs in perfection. Especially mechanical Swiss watches
with a tourbillon complication are highly appreciated and recommended
for a price that can easily go above 100’000 USD. The Charles
Girardier 1809 Tourbillon 1759SS reflects this tradition with
combining selected materials, finishing, color combinations and
functionality. The achievements of Mechanical Timepieces making by
the Swiss are quite impressive. They combine over centuries best of
technical inventions, usually known as “complications” with
so beautiful luxury designs mostly known as finishing repertoire.
Both criteria are only met in the best mechanical timepieces of haute
horlogerie suisse or dedicated movements manufacturers like Vaucher /
Fleurier. Guilloché blue decorative pattern dial, lines closed to
