THE ARTIST
|
Arkadiy Kurta grew up in the small city of Sumy in Ukraine and lived in Germany for two years while he attended school. Prior to becoming a photographer, he attended the Banking Academy of Finance in Kiev for six years. Whilst studying at the academy he became interested in photography after he was presented with an inexpensive camera as a gift. The following year, at twenty-nine years old, he enrolled in the Kiev School of Photography and a year later he opened his first studio in his hometown. In 2017 he was inducted into The National Union of Photographic Artists of Ukraine. Arkadiy has established a well-earned reputation for photographing nudes in busy public places.
