This is a fully high-end collector's specimen. With vanadinite, like many minerals, buyers look for overall size of the piece, size of individual crystals, color, and condition. For vanadinite collectors that value the bi-color format where the one side of the crystals are that gorgeous deep red and the other side are a shaded coffee ice cream color, this is easily the best piece I've ever seen - period. From one side you see hundreds of huge coffee ice cream colored crystals that that magic 2cm mark in width that vanadinite collectors love. On the other side, we see the matrix with the 'backs' of the coffee ice cream crystals showing that deep blood red color that is just gorgeous and so stunning! 

I've seen pieces like this retailing for $5,000-$10,000 EASY, but those are retailers and I'm a collector. In fact, this is #13 from my collection of 600 pieces! If you like bi-colored vanadinite, I don't think you'll find a better piece at a better price anywhere.
