can be accomplished with this special shop ALIGNMENT TOOL.
Incorrect alignment of the top to bottom of the left gas tank
can cause fuel shut off to never work properly.
50 year old tanks may look good, but alignment check is
always a first step - particularly before paint work
TOOL threads into Valve Seat Hole
Heavy 3/4" Hex NUT then can be leveraged
with socket-bar or box wrench to center align rod at top hole
