Vintage Fenton Yellow Custard Glass jack in the pulpit tulip

Custard Is one of the earliest color's in glass.  Opaque yellow glass was used to decorate core-formed glass vessels
more than three and a half thousand years ago in Mesopotamia and later in Egypt.

This vase was made with uranium (oxide diuranate) form that is added to the glass mix and then melted at temperatures
over (2000 degrees Fahrenheit then formed in this stunning work of art that has mysterious green glow
when exposed to ultraviolet light, not just a black light that is just the most popular method for testing
Vaseline glass that can be in many different colors but are mainly in green or yellow glass.
