THIS IS A WONDERFUL RETRO MID-CENTURY MODERN FOUR CARAT OPAL RING IN 14K YELLOW GOLD WITH A STUNNING OVAL OPAL CABOCHON GEM.
The effect of the gorgeous natural opal in the classic mid-century modern design in 14 Karat yellow gold create a magical jewel.  The colors of the opal are wonderful with blue, green, orange, yellow and red.  The ring dates to circa 1950-1980.

The top of the ring is 19mm long by 15mm wide.  It sits 4 mm above the finger.
The opal is approximately 18mm by 14mm by 3mm and is 4.3 Carats.
The ring is a wonderful warm 14 Karat gold and is hallmarked 14k.  
The ring is currently a size 8 US (UK Q), and can be easily resized if desired.  
The ring weighs 7.1 grams.
